My spiritual journey began when I was 5 years old and drowned and resuscitated.
At 6 years of age "pledged my soul" to God as I understood it on:
Thursday, May 6, 1965, at 7:39pm, during a week long Church Revival meeting at Bethany Baptist, in Portsmouth, VA.
Since this time, I've studied most religions, doctrines and faiths. I've learned

Since this time, I've studied most religions, doctrines and faiths. I've learned that ALL of them (over 4000) have 3 basic key truths:
- We're born
- We live
- We die
We don't choose to be born, and our life circumstances are not always chosen, yet certainly we ALL die.
Before I turned 50, my life inventory revealed I had experienced over 150 deaths from relatives, friends or folks I knew of. THAT'S A LOT!
Caring for my father and being with him as he passed on, was my first "hands-on" experience and "seeing" (experiencing) his spirit leave his body was both joyous and sad ... quite the bittersweet moment.
I've felt the same bittersweet & beautiful experience while helping others transition to their final destination, which is why being a Death Doula and a hospice volunteer is now my passion.
It would be an honour to share your final time on this planet and assist your family with understanding, as best as possible.
